Be Fearless about crime @ Fearless.org – the new youth brand from the crime fighting charity Crimestoppers

Learning and Teaching Resources

Crimestoppers – Are you fearless about crime?

Crimestoppers is an independent UK registered charity that operates the anonymous 0800 555 111 telephone number and Secure Online Form for anyone with information about crime who for whatever reason - do not want to go to the police.

Providing 100% anonymity means that members of the public who contact Crimestoppers will not have to give any personal details, provide statements or appear in court.

Fearless.org is the Crimestoppers brand and website for young people. It’s the main way that young people will be introduced to the valuable service that Crimestoppers provides.

Fearless Secondary Educational Resource

The ‘not a young person’ section on the Fearless.org website enables teachers and youth workers to access the latest Fearless materials. This includes a resource that is written for teachers across the UK working with pupils aged 11-16.

It provides exercises on a range of crime types that teachers can use to challenge their pupil’s perceptions, stimulate debate and encourage good citizenship.

Fearless.org

The Fearless.org website covers in detail all of the crime types mentioned within the Fearless Secondary Educational Resource. Each section is supported with appropriate video content streamed from YouTube. Young people can access information on a number of crime types that may affect them whilst having the  option to give information to the charity 100% anonymously via a Secure Online Form on the site.
