Fearless Against Crime - Free Teaching Resources from Crimestoppers

Monday 15th August 2011

Crimestoppers has created a comprehensive range of teaching resources that teachers can use to educate young people about crime that affects them and their communities, and to tell them all about the Fearless website. Fearless is part of the UK charity, Crimestoppers, and Fearless is aimed specifically at young people who are at risk of crime and aims to give clear information about the type of crimes that can effect them. The website also offers an anonymous service for reporting crimes too.

The new Fearless.org educational resource is aimed at educators across the UK who teach, or work with, pupils aged 11-16. The website offers information for teachers to inform students about crimes involvingknives, guns, vehicles, sex crimes, drugs, alcohol, cyber crime, bullying, vandalism, gangs, arson, theft and assaults. It provides exercises on a range of crime types that teachers can use to challenge their pupils perceptions, stimulate debate and encourage good citizenship.

Crimestoppers is committed to helping young people make informed choices about crime that affects them and their communities.  This teaching resource is available for free to download but if you are interested in receiving a hard copy please email the team at fearless@crimestoppers-uk.org

To support any of our lessons you can also access new free posters and other promotional materials. Visit Fearless.org for further information.
