The Tales from the Glovebox, The Magic Library website is brought to you by Renault Grand Scénic, National Schools Partnership and Puffin Books. The website was created to foster a love of reading and an appreciation for stories and books in pupils aged 7-11.  Teaching resources, lesson plans and activities are available for free for use in Art, Music, Literacy, and ICT classrooms.

The website has an excellent teachers area with great class and homework resources, interactive whiteboard games, audio extracts from the Puffin Classic range of books (including Alice in Wonderland, White Fang, Five Children and It and the Jungle Book) lesson plans, activity sheets and videos from young author and illustrators. There is also an area to provide feedback and by doing do you could win a box full of Puffin books for your class.

The pupils area has an interactive Magic Quest game giving children a chance to win a trip to Disneyland Paris, plus audio books, a fun and games are and a video section.  They can even colour their own Renault Scenic!

The website has already had great feedback from teachers so far and has achieved a five-star rating on TES online:

"A very useful set of lessons plans and resources. The website is excellent and I used lessons from all 3 areas: English, Art and Music. The resources link right across the curriculum too."

"A really good, ready to use and completely free resource which uses the creative curriculum to link literacy with the arts. Lots of free lesson plans, what a great website!"
